Those marbles in the stone by the door are very intriguing. Any idea of what they're there for? I am - of course - hoping for some sort of fantastical local superstition...
Hi Lynne I am not familiar with any superstitious ritual involving marbles in holes, nice idea though. I believe the marbles I find around the farm are from the fifties. I found an old photo of children here from that time.
